Merry Christmas from the Hardenburghs

Outside the Bob's in Barstow

This summer we went to Breckenridge, CO with Ted's family for vacation. Almost everyone in one house for a week -  it was a big house and everyone could find someplace to go - when you were home.

We made it a road trip, driving through Nevada and Utah on the way.  Breakfast the first day was a Bob's in Barstow - the kids didn't know anything about Bob's, but Dana and Ted tried to explain the significance from "the old days."

Caity at the end of the OC Marathon with her medal

Both kids had an active year sports wise. At the beginning of school, Caity decided she was going to participate in the OC Marathon for Kids. She ran a mile a week at school and on the day of the marathon ran the last mile on the course. She had a great time. She also played soccer and softball, and seems to have decided that soccer is her thing. She's playing arena soccer during the winter.

Andrew was active in school sports, playing flag football and co-ed soccer. Both teams did well, and he had a fun time. He also played Juniors baseball on the "full-size" field and did well pitching.  He'll be back on the diamond this spring.

Andrew before he left us in the dust

Andrew is in 8th grade this year and enjoying his time. It's a little strange thinking he'll be in high school next year...

Brother and sister - Andrew's birthday. Can you believe he's 14?!

Andrew gets a good dousing by the guide. We're sure he deserved it, whatever he did!
